1. Chest (For Jackets)
Wrap a tape measure under your arms and across the widest part of your chest and shoulder blades. Keep the tape parallel to the floor. Do not hold your breath or pull the tape too tight.
2. Overarm (For Jackets)
With your arms relaxed at your sides, measure around the broadest part of your shoulders and upper arms. If this measurement is 7 inches or larger than your chest measurement, consider sizing up your jacket.
3. Waist (For Pants)
Measure around your natural waistline, where you normally wear your dress pants (typically about an inch below your navel). Insert one finger between the tape and your body for a comfortable fit.
4. Inseam (For Pants)
Take a pair of dress pants that fit you well and lay them flat. Measure from the crotch seam straight down the inside of the leg to the bottom hem.
